Omexom to build a new greenfield substation and extend two existing substations to increase power supply capacity.
PLN has awarded Omexom three 150kV substation projects in Sumatra.
Omexom Grid Indonesia has signed a contract for the greenfield construction of the Seko 150kV Substation in Jambi Province. The scope includes the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a 150/20kV Air Insulated Substation, along with nine transmission towers. The works are scheduled for completion within 18 months.
In addition, the Business Unit has signed two additional contracts, to extend the existing Krueng Raya and Takengon substations. The extension works, which will be delivered within 20 months, involve engineering, supply and installation of a 60 MVA transformer at each site, along with all associated works, including civil works, HV apparatus, MV switchgear, protection systems, cabling and grounding.
