Omexom Indonesia to build HV substations for the 60 MWac floating PV power plant.
The Saguling Floating PV Plant project in West Java is a major renewable energy initiative developed by PT PLN Indonesia Power and ACWA Power, aiming to deliver 60 MWac capacity and reduce carbon emissions by over 63,000 tons annually.
Omexom Renewable Energies Indonesia has been awarded the high-voltage substation scope, which includes a 20kV/150kV step-up substation connected to the floating solar PV system, a 150kV switching substation, and associated civil works. The substations will be located near the Saguling Dam and Saguling Hydropower Plant, ensuring seamless connectivity and grid reliability.
The construction started in December 2025. This project supports Indonesia’s energy transition goals and strengthens Omexom’s position in Indonesia’s renewable energy sector.
