Omexom helps UPC Renewables to deliver clean energy into Indonesia’s power grid

Omexom Indonesia recently delivered, on behalf of UPC Renewables, the EPC contractor works for the electrical balance of plant of the Sidrap 75MW wind power plant.
The project, which was developed by UPC Renewables and is the country’s first wind farm, was officially inaugurated in July 2018 by President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
Omexom’s team designed, procured and constructed the electrical gathering system, the step-up substation,the electrical automation and telecommunication systems and a high voltage transmission line to integrate the renewable energy power plant into the Sulawesi grid system.
