A Shared Commitment to Sustainability.
One year after planting 5,000 Bruguiera cylindrica mangrove seedlings, we returned to the site to monitor their progress and were encouraged by the results. Many of the seedlings have grown to approximately 30 cm in height, demonstrating healthy development and the success of the restoration effort.
The visit was attended by members of the local farmers group, who have supported the maintenance of the mangrove area, as well as representatives from the Indonesia’s entity responsible for managing forest resources. Together, we held a simple ceremony to celebrate this milestone and recognize the collective efforts behind the project.
This achievement reflects Omexom Indonesia’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community development. By helping to restore coastal ecosystems, we are also supporting the residents of Patramanggala Village, whose lives and livelihoods are closely connected to the surrounding coastal environment. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Omexom’s team for their dedication and contribution to the success of this initiative.
